This is a far-reaching segment of Jewish and world history spanning centuries with profound consequences that continue to unfold at present day. The Sefarad saga is more than merely recounting a history. It is an epic history of persecution, forced conversions, but also, a story of survival, hope, faith, and accomplishments, spanning centuries. It is a story of Crypto-Jews desperately trying to hold on to their traditions under the threat of the Inquisition. It is also a story of redemption and survival where many descendants of the Crypto-Jews (Bnei Anusim) are making their way back to their Jewish roots after 530 plus years in hiding.
Despite its historic relevance and present-day consequences, many in Jewish and world communities do not have a clear understanding of the far-reaching significance of these events. We invite you to learn more, to share, and participate in this important mission to bring this story too light.
