Jewish Heritage Alliance Teams Up with Beth Torah in Their Ongoing Efforts to Offer Communities Sefarad-Related Programming

For too long, the story of Sefarad has lived in the shadows of Jewish history—a story of faith, resilience, and triumph that is often overlooked. Yet it is a story that shaped the Jewish world in ways still felt today, a story of brilliance and beauty shadowed by persecution, exile, and reinvention. At Jewish Heritage Alliance, we are dedicated to bringing this heritage to life, illuminating the experiences of Sephardic Jews and sharing their legacy with communities everywhere.

We are proud to join Beth Torah in presenting a deeply moving program that traces the Sephardic journey from the anguish of the Inquisition to the promise of a new life in America. It is a story of courage, perseverance, and faith—a story of people who not only survived but helped shape the early ideals of liberty that became part of the foundation of the United States.

Yet telling this story is only part of our mission. Too many people, even within the Jewish community, know little to nothing about this rich chapter of our shared identity. To change that, we offer a wide range of programs designed to bring the culture, history, and spirit of Sefarad directly to communities. Through live and online webinars, our Learning Center, a mobile exhibit, custom-designed programs, and historical tours, we create opportunities for people to experience this heritage firsthand, to be inspired, and to connect deeply with a legacy that belongs to all of us.

The program we present with Beth Torah goes deeper than its title or subject matter. It reminds us of the suffering our ancestors endured, the faith they never surrendered, and the strength that carried them forward.
